Last year my hubby bought a proxxon machine to polish his beloved watch. When I looked at the tools it occured to me that it is also meant to be used for glass engraving. Pretty thrilled about the idea of the new form of art I started googling this stuff. I was so amazed and impressed by the work that I started my very own project.
I made this plate during the nights only, when the kids went to bed. It became very hard for me to continue working as I get very little time available without the kids. So, I have postponed any furthur glass engraving projects till my kids are a bit older.
In my seventh grade ( by the help of Mrs. Takhleeq ) I started my creative path.
It included Sketching and Glass painting. Since then, Sketching and my other creative projects have not stopped. The early endeavours are not with me, even not in pics. So, I have decided to keep all newer projects with me (mostly in Pics).
My last personal sketching project was finished in March 2007. Not done with real pencils though. I used the Wacom tablet to create this one.
Has any one ever thougt what kind of affect does “amreeka ka visa” has on people.
There are two categories:
One who think they got a lottery and some one in the visa office is doing them a favour by approving the visa. For them the one filling out forms or helping in the interview also becomes BEST buddy in the whole wide world (even if only for some time).
The Second category is people who think that they are the world’s BEST to have got the visa, no one else can achieve that level of superiority.
Is there any other category…. i am still waiting to find out.
I started calligraphy some time ago. It is a lovely form of art. You can express any thing while making it look beautiful. The expression does not need to be with words even. This picture i have used, just uses the word calligraphy but contains a lot more meanings and expression in itself. This meaning is the basis for my getting in love with this form of art.
I am only doing English Calligraphy so far. Hope fully i will start in other languages as well.

How this missing part is blocked by your mind amazes me!!
It occured to me that you miss some thing in your life but i guess so that it doesn’t affect your every day activities it is blocked in your conscious mind. Once you get that you were missing is when you recongnize the feeling of emptiness it was creating, then you get to understand how much difference did it make.
I am really happy about the fact my parents are visiting me InshaAllah. But, along with the feeling of happiness i now understand that a big part of me was lost …. and the extreme happiness is just an outcome of finding that part of me all over again.
But Never Thought it will be so quick!!!
For people like me, those who missed the first episode of Pakistani politics.. Sadar Zardari is trying to makeup for the lost drama. Trying to repeat the history for us to enjoy the dramas of our near past.

I had to get my wisdom tooth removed… and in all the waiting i had to do.. i noticed this book my hubby has been telling me to read for a long time. So, just to forget the pain i started it.. Now,, i can’t leave it…
The book’s title is ” The coming First World Debt Crisis” by Ann Pettifor.
For the very first time i got to understand the gold standard and its implications on the economy… and i am just at the start of the book… It is really good and easy to understand even for a layman (read woman) like me. So, i guess u guyz shld give it a try too…
Will keep u posted about what i learn more from the book.

We take every thing for granted in our lives. So many days pass by before we Thank for what we have. Today i feel like being thankful for all the little merry things i have in my life. Just that my day was a good day with both my kids. I am grateful for having 2 cute little ones (can’t imagine what life will be like without them). Just love sharing my cupcake with them, both of them standing on my sides waiting for their turn and saying how they love their PUPcake (in sul’s language) and ka (in uz’s language… just figured out when i was teaching its a cup not pup to sul). Ahhh… thats the life.
So, now its your turn to be thankful about something in your life.

The world with 2 kids under 3. Today was one of those normal days when i got to sleep only 3 hours that too while feeding 
….
About the kids…. i dont know how i manage it but did it again today some how, sul (my elder one) completed his another book.. and got a certificate of “I can color”.. and uz “the little one” is cruising and eating anything he founds on his way..
